This Jaguar has just arrived with us and we are looking at selling it on as a car requiring some light restoration to make it a valuable asset. It has been dry stored and not been on the road for many years.
The car starts first time every time and the straight 6 cylinder engine sounds lovely!
Great history as the car was purchased new from the Jaguar dealership in Aberdeen back in 1967 by a local hotelier then moved on to the previous owner who has had the car for the last 30 years and of course with only 44000 makes it worth investing in bringing it back to glory.
We have had the car on our MOT ramp and the underside of the car is looking in very good shape, we can get some more pictures of the underside / boot and engine bay area as you require.
Briefly regarding work needing done > the woodwork inside the car will need attention, it would also benefit from a full respray, front bumper requires re-chrome and other areas light restoration. Time permitting over the next few weeks we shall be putting in new spark plugs & leads / clutch slave cylinder and also having a look at the brakes, the car is moving around with no problem but the clutch slave is leaking so the pedal needs a pump up to select a gear, the brakes are operating but have a tendency to stick on at the moment so we plan to have that bits and pieces done so we can give the car a decent test drive and get her properly up to heat.
